NHL announces 2012 All-Star Fan Balloting

The National Hockey League revealed yesterday their 2012 NHL All-Star Fan Ballot. Every year the fans get to vote for the players that will attend the NHL All-Star game, which will be held on January 29th 2012 at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa, Canada.

There are a total of 127 players listen on the NHL All-Star Game ballot, including 18 goaltenders, 36 defensemen and 73 forwards.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are the teams with the most players represented on the ballot, they have 6: James Neal, Kris Letang, Evgeni Malkin, Sidney Crosby, Jordan Staal, and goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury.
The first time NHL All-Star Game host Ottawa Senators have 5 players listed on the ballot, the same number as the Dallas Stars and Washington Capitals have.
The voting begins on November 14th, and you can do so at Vote.NHL.com or via a mobile ballot for cell phones in the US and Canada, you can receive the ballot by text messaging your favorite player’s last name to 81812 (Carrier message and data rates may apply).
Fans who vote online can enter for a chance to win one grand prize: a trip for two to attend the 2012 NHL All-Star Weekend in Ottawa.
Every Tuesday starting on the 22nd of November you will be able to see the results online at NHL.com.
