There is a saying: “In football, success comes in cycles”. While some of these cycles last longer than others, Wenger’s counterpart Sir Alex Fergurson seems to have been succesful for almost two decades. Has it really been 20 years worth of success for Manchester United? 22nd of December since my last post and haven’t we had some interesting happenings, both in the Brisbane Roar camp and results wise. We lost our derby match (again) to a controversial penalty. The player was clearly fouled but the location of the foul is to be disputed. Honestly, I have no idea because I have not re-watched that game after our terrible inability to score. Read On

It’s been a tumoltuous fortnight if you are a Gold Coast United supporter. In the last two weeks, we have seen the reintroduction of the infamous ‘crowd cap’ due to ‘poor behaivour’, played witness to two rather poor outings at home, and now there appears to be some rifts forming within the club.
